Beware of burns when operating your stove, open the door with gloves or other tools to prevent you from being burned.

If camping with children or pets put a fire guard around the stove as the stove’s surfaces get very hot.

Do not leave anything combustible near the stove. Keep a fire extinguisher to hand.

Never pack away when the stove is hot. To avoid the risk of fire, make sure sparks go out completely before packing away.

Protect your groundsheet with a flame retardant heat mat, in case hot embers escape.

Ensure you have a carbon monoxide alarm and smoke detector.
